Feasting the Singaporean way part 3

What is every Singaporean's (most anyway) fav. past-time? Eating, blogging on food, cooking, looking for credit card deals on buffets, watching food shows and more. Yeap thats the way we like it and it was without much difficulty that I was inculcated into this culture once again. Yesterday, after watching Harry Potter, Dr Li and I decided to 'walk walk'. One of the stops was Marche or now known as the Village... or something like that. Cos it was like 4 plus in the afternoon, we practically had the place to oursleves. =)

After which, we went to meet up with my family to celebrate Mr Yang Siew San Jason's 21st birthday (Welcome to adulthood my friend!) @ No signboard Seafood Restaurant aka Wu Zhao Pai Restaurant and you guessed it, another round of eating. 8 course Chinese meal comprising of:

1. Toufu dish

2. Chilli Kang Kong

3. Steamed Fish

4. Kong Bao Qi (Chicken with dried chili)

5. Ee Fu Noodles (a must at every birthday dinner cos its rep longevity)

6. Cereal Prawn (really huge i tell you)

7. Chilli Crab

8. Pepper Crab

It was TOO MUCH FOOD! But really yummy too.. Poor Dr Li couldnt eat 3 out of the 8 dishes but nevertheless he didnt go hungry.

For Part two, the cousins went for a little drink at Ooosh Restaurant located at Dempsey Road where P.S. Cafe is located. Oooo.. this place is nice.. Check out this photo this is the exact place we sat yesterday.. =) Nice ambience nice music and pretty good stuff. But unfortunately, I was really tired last night.. hee.. too embarassing to write it out.

My next indulgence, Kushinbo! Ooooo have been wanting to eat good Japanese food ever since I was back in Melbourne and Kushinbo came to my mind... So Dr Li suggested going there this afternoon and I jumped at the opportunity! So off we went to Kushinbo @ Suntec City with the aim to complete our luncheon within an hour so that we can get the promo of $19.80 ++ per pax.. and we did it! with 10 mins to spare. No mean feat i tell you but it helps if you are small eaters like us who dont get their money's worth at all at buffets. However, looking at the amount of Sashimi we actually ate, I think we got our money's worth. Wanted to take more photos but well.. the battery died...silly me rushed out without charging so here's what i managed to squeeze out of the last drop of my battery life.
