Wound Management...

... is boring. I'm in the midst of listening to the lecture online about complex wounds and I'm completely bored. I just dont find it interesting at all. Its so dry the subject... assessments, wound dressings, blah blah.. its well researched area, with numerous techniques on wound management available in the market. 

But its just... a sleepy topic. 

and, i personally cant stand them, particularly foot wounds. I had the experience of looking after a diabetic patient recently with foot ulcers so bad that you could practically see the bone. it was yellow and sloughy and smelly... you wanted to gag literally. (not kidding). 

I can take poo, urine, vomit, blood.. but not complex wounds. If i have to handle i will handle but its about preference i guess.. 

Sigh.. i'm only halfway through this topic back to the grind...
