Many things happened

Troubled, unsure yet still holding firmly to what I believe in, God's soverignty

This past week has been up and done for me. I thank all of you who met up with me this week either to cheer me up, meet me up to sort out stuff etc. It hasnt been an easy week but i've made some progress in various stuff. =) K, more about the week and some observations i had

Youmin's birthday on Friday
Met Youmin, her boyfriend and xiuling for dinner on friday evening at city hall. Bad choice to meet but a wrong decision turned out well. In our haste to escape the crowds around esplanade waiting to watch fireworks, we decided to meet Miss Gan nearer her workplace at Shenton Way. even though there wasnt any substanstial food served along the boat quay lane, an unexpected result of it was that we managed to catch an unobstructed view of the fireworks from our dinner place! it was beautiful. Nothing can compare to watching the fireworks live.

after that, we proceeded on to our next stop, which was this cafe that Miss Gan wanted to introduce to us. It's called ps cafe and if you guys dont know about it, you should check it out! It's on harding road, a pretty isolated and quiet road with no streetlights. the drive in felt pretty dodgey but it was worth the drive. when i saw it lighted in the midst of the darkness that surrounded it, i fell in love with the place! =)

a pictture of it .

Library Book Sale @ Expo
It was really crowded! My gosh..the bookfair began at 0930hr but when we reached there at 0915hr, the queue outside had already streched all the way to burger king! It was not only just one stright line, it was a like a snake, curling here and there. Whoah...
and people came prepared. Saw some people carry big empty bags, foldable trolleys, even suitcases! My gosh, no wonder they need to limit people to max 50 books per person.

Inside was another sight all together. There was pushing and shoving as people tried to get close to the books, peer over one another's shoulders, stick an arm through bodies just to jostle and hustle their way in to grab the book of their desire.
Got a few blue backs out of this trip as well on top of the four books i bought from the fair. Is it worth it? Well, not really but i guess its the experience of going . Will i go back again next year? Maybe , maybe not. Let see how it goes.
