Back to the two of us

Great Blessings have been bestowed upon me the past 3 weeks. If you havent already figured out, i was visited by a Singapore doctor the last 3 weeks. Dr Li was on holiday, so he decided to pay a visit to two very special girls in his life. Here's a glimpse of how it went through the lenses of my eyes...

1st week:
He arrived on a sunday where uncle see keng (bless him!) drove me to the airport to pick him up. We had lunch with them and then it was back home for him to unpack be orientated to our suburb. As we still had school to attend and etc, Dr Li was left to his own devices most of the time in the which suited him nicely. he took a well deserved break, sleeping in, vegging out in front of the tv watching a ton of DVDs, recuperating from his MBBS ordeal. However, we did go to the city after school, eat wonder peaking duck, and planned our excursions (see photo on my multiply site) for the 2nd week when uncle chris (selene's dad) would be here.

2nd week:
I would say this started when we went to pick uncle chris up from the airport on sat morning. it was also the start of our adventure of driving in Melbourne. Since uncle chris and Selene couldnt drive, andrew and I took turns to drive (as he mentioned in his previous post). what he didnt mention was that while yes we took turns in driving, me being the more inexperienced driver drove in the day and the easier routes, while i left him to drive the nights (so that he slept in the day in the car.. cat napper lah..) as well as the windy roads of Dandenong which gave him a headache as well.. =0

but having said all that, our excursion as you have seen from the photos and the various posts were a BLAST! The penguins were really cute as they crawled up but it was horribly cold! super super duper.. Thank god we had a car so we could pile all our clothes into the back as well as shoes and munchies.

Dandenong was pretty and Miss Marple's Cafe was fantastic! the scones, oh boy... yummy. you would think that scone were round in shape but no.. these came looking like huge pieces of cake I was a little puzzled initially but once you bite into it (with the jam and cream of course) it was like, yeah this is it.. in conclusion, we ATE A LOT! with two men in the house, it felt to selene and I that we were eating constantly.. CONSTANTLY>>> scary.

3rd week:
Back to school but alot of lectures got canceled or something or other. so i managed to spend more time with the dr running errands and just taking a bus ride to the city..

They have all left and we are back to the two us. The place is quiet again.. only filled with the sound of our music blasting our computers or if not its the sound of cooking, house work being done. dun get me wrong we DO talk to one another.. just that Dr Li is extremely extroverted and will make things really noisy and rowdy by being silly. =)

now, its back to school and household maintenance.. Sigh.
