Current Daily Reading: Purpose Driven Life By Rick Warren

for the past week and the next 6 weeks or so, a group of us will be embarking on the Purpose Driven life series. It's about finding your purpose in life. What's the purpose of your life? what are you made for?

This week, the focus is on fellowship. We are called to belong to a group of like-minded believers. We are told to be:

1) authentic
2) encouraging
3) honest
4) speaking the truth out of love
5) supportive
6) forgiving
7) humble
8) respecting differences
9) not gossip
10) make meeting up a priority.

Genuine fellowship is rare, it means giving up our self-centredness and independence in order to become interdependent.
It's a difficult task.
