buying a toaster

While visiting U.Jimmy & A.Rose one day at their new place, they showed me a small toaster that they had bought at BIG W for $30. It has a timer function as well as a temperature function which allows me to moderate the temperature settings. I thought that was really useful cos currently the other thing i have is a upright bread toaster which is ABSOLUTELY USELESS. Seriously.all it can do is toast bread and only the slices type not anything else.

I do have a microwave but its a really lousy one. i dare not do anything more than just heating up food in plastic containers. SO... after deliberating for about 2 weeks or so, i decided to buy it! It was an impulse buy (in some sense) cos i knew that if i thought more about it, i would say, oh well, only a few months more blah blah.. so heck it, i bought it and tot of the possibilties with a baking function and a grilling function.

SO I'm really happy! =) and when you think about it, 30 bucks for 6 months usage (minimum) thats like 5 bucks a month and like 1 dollar a week! (not counting electrical usage lah) and i can still toast my bread!

So i'm happy today. Sometimes i get too caught up with saving money, using my money wisely that it becomes my stronghold. Need to learn the fine balance being a good steward and using it wisely.
