The bane of my life - Lizards

Of all the amphibians and insects that are commonly found in homes, lizards are the worst. Every day when i open the trash bin located in the kitchen, i would kick the trash bin first and strain my ear to hear the frightened scuttles in the bin as a sign of their presence. Most of the time, they would scramble out of the bin but some would still be in the bin even when i open the lid! my reaction? scream and jump as high as i can to prevent my toes from coming into contact with these scrambling lizards! urgh!
