The Passion of the Christ

The Passion of the Christ, directed by Mel Gibson, is the first M18 rated show in Singapore.

Went to watch it at Orchard yesteraday with my sis and some church friends.
I recommend it to all of you, not because I am forcing it down your throat or anything (not that powerful) but because it talks about a person's life.

You can watch it with many perspectives.

1. A sceptic, filled with negative thoughts even before you enter, ready to look for problems in it just because it is religious in nature

2. An open mind, to understand the life of a man that so many believe in. Take the movie on Ghandi. It is also a movie on his life, his teachings, his passion for the people.

3. A nutralist, determined not to view the picture in any view, but to take it on surface level, looking at cinematic effects. (which is absolutely great let me tell you)

The life of the man (Jesus) protrayed in this movie is overwhelming.
if it helps, when watching the movie, dun think about it with the Christian perspective you already have. give the man another name, say Joshua.

in the movie, you will see the last 2 days of his life, what he went through leading to his death on the cross, a way of punishment in the Roman empire in those days.
